Hi!

Some of my earliest memories are of coloring the walls of my family’s home on the edge of the Amazon with my
cherished pack of crayons. High art was hard to find in our humble Guyanese town, but I took every opportunity to doodle in
my school books and find other ways of expressing myself. Soon enough, I began to see the world in a different light.
My uniform’s graphic gingham pattern, with its bright hues, stood out against the old drab uniforms in the district. And my
mother’s homemade dresses became an inspiration, sparking my own interest in fashion. When I moved to the United States
as a young child, I found a mentor in my first art teacher, Ms. Joy Wilson. With her support, I discovered that I could actually
pursue a carreer doing what I love! I am forever indebted to her as she was the first person who encouraged me
to study art and design. The city of New York also became an invaluable source of inspiration growing up, from its bustling
streets to its lavish museums—the city always had something new to discover. Today, this rich hub of art and culture is
crucial to keeping my finger on the pulse of the worlds of fashion and design.

As a creative + art director with more than two decades of experience, I’ve helped push the design standards of
retail fashion across multiple platforms—and there’s no greater compliment than seeing your work held up as
inspiration to your peers in the industry. Pushing that standard even further is what drives me to continue growing as an
art director and team leader. Associates have come to rely on my rigorous work ethic and dedication to sharp design
aesthetics throughout my career. From fledgling designer to seasoned director, I strive to cultivate beautiful imagery
while maintaining a high level of quality and creativity. By combining passion, diligence and good old-fashioned elbow
grease, I’ve fostered teams of designers, photographers and stylists to bring ambitious concepts to life. You can find
